Beardney Spears was born in Dubai, UAE and has an Iranian nationality. They fled their hometown for safety issues and lived as a refugee in Turkey, eventually settling in Canada. They have a bachelor’s in Business Admin and have the passion to start their own business in the future. Beardney volunteers for Rainbow Refugee Society and helped to sponsor four individuals to come and live safely in Canada. They are a YouTube creator and raise awareness about what life is like for Middle-Eastern LGBTQ+ people. After three years in Canada, they and their partner have settled in Vancouver.
